About Our Thermoplastic Conveyor Belts
Thermoplastic conveyor belts come in four main types of polymer and monomer combinations. The four main thermoplastic belts are; Polyutherane (PU Belts), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC Belts), Polypropylene (PP Belts) and Polyethylene (PE Belts)
Thermoplastic conveyor belts traditionally have non-absorbent properties, are highly repellent to chemicals and water, with high density and strength properties due to the plastic compounds. These plastic belts also perform in a wide range of conditions from between -60’C – 100’C depending on the thermoplastic used.
As a result, our Powder Coated Thermoplastic Belts are the staple conveyor belt for any food production, health, hygienic or medical manufacturing purpose. Custom Sizes can be produced with ‘Vulcanization’ so that the conveyor belts are made as per the conveyor line. All of these thermoplastic belts are ‘Food Grade’ compliant.
