About Our Conveyor Belts
A key product across food production and FDA approved, cotton conveyor belts are part of the solid woven conveyor belt family. Cotton belting is manufactured using open roll and endless form. This means without ‘splice’ and allows for an ‘endless’ and continuous belt perfect for regularly food production.
Cotton Conveyor belting is used in moulder systems, especially within the biscuit making industry. This is due to their 6% absorption of fatty oils, which is higher than that of polyester and nylon woven belts. Furthermore, cotton conveyor belting has a 22% moisture regain which allows the belting to perform exceptionally well during the ‘pull’ and ‘release’ phases of biscuit production.
The cotton conveyor belt absorbs moisture just as well as it does oils, if not better. This requires extreme precision that is monitored by our engineers during production.
